where's my problem?
Discussion
I thought of posting that picture again, but I am fairly certain that is not where they earth. I removed the console including radio wiring and cigarette lighter without undoing anything from that earth point.
If I recall, the earth wires dissapear into the thick bundle of loom that leads back to a multiway plug under the helmet holder.
I cant see anything relating to either in the wiring diagrams

Luckily I have a Cerb with the interior removed, so I've just checked behind the cubby hole thing. The Cig lighter wires connect to a multi pin plug that joins the main wiring loom, and the radio connects into a totally seperate multi pin plug, so there is no 'common earth' as such.
If it isn't the fuse then it's possible that whoever connected you radio used the power source from the Cig lighter and it may have an inline fuse fitted.

I had this problem - mine was due to some wiring bodging by whoever had fitted a device for blocking speed detectors. So my car had to have a lot of that wiring removed and then sort out the electrics that were left and get them back to how they should have been. In my case the radio and fag lighter were doing strange things and the radio was coming off the fag lighter power. Now rewired and sorted.
