Help! I bought a TV stand on ebay, and now have delight of trying to arrange a carrier. Problem is it weighs c35kg, and the limit for my usual carrier, Parcel2go, seems to be 25kg - or they can do 35 but want to charge me £100!!

Any ideas?

If its Dundee area (Give or take 10 miles) I'll run it to Aberdeen for £50.

Thanks Mccarn, if it was Dundee I'd get it myself!! No, it's in the depths of Englandshire, Birmingham way I think, and we're Aberdeenshire!!

Dunno if you still need this, but Pallex at Ibstock will do a pallet in the Uk for £40.

Have you tried Anyvan dot com? Launched last year by several 'delivery auction' services. Haven't used them myself but, apparently one lists the item to be transported and couriers then browse the listings and bid to transport the goods.

Maybe we should have a team effort by pistonheads. See who can drive it so far, and so on and so on.
