Hello,
Owner from the U.S.
Can the heater matrix be removed from the front via the removal of the blower fan box, or does it have to be removed from the dash side?

I think dash side (and its a terrible job ! ) ..but I would like to hear from someone whoes done it , what did it entail ??

Suspect I might have a slight leak in the heater matrix as well, so please someone say you can remove it from the front!

I have small leak as well , pulled off all the stuff on the front ...no access !! frown ..I think you may have to pull all the dash out ??? ...not good ...does anyone know ?

dont know if you got pics but heater matrix bolts together sandwitching bulkhead willneed to remove trim in passanger footwell as unit will come out that side we fitted valves in ours so we can remove in future without needing to do a full system drain hope this helps

Thanks for the photo ...did you go further and actually get the matrix out ? ..it looks like the whole box is silconed up and would need a lot more work before you could actually remove the matrix and swap it out ? Thanks for you help ! smile

hi didnt strip the matrix down but as you can see its well siliconed up but only fixed by a few rivets to pin it together til silicone sets also has bonding to the bulkhead at each side we just used self adhesive on one side foam on re assembly in to car as easier to remove in future
