I know I can check the weather sites and webcams, but what's the weather like up there higher up?

Is there any snow and is it settling?

What do you think will happen over the weekend, any snow due? and if so, do you think it will dust the hills and fields but not affect the roads?

I am shortly off camping for the weekend, but not sure what car to take if any substantial snow is likely? Derby is fine, no issue, but I know that just a bit further North and it can be very different.

Thanks.

A good friend once never shutup about how good a site called www.netweather.tv was. I've never been on the site personally as it sounded like a bit of a joke.

I went hooning over to Congleton and Macc yesterday Warren. A decent covering of snow on the ground over Cat and Fiddle and the other higher areas but not much new stuff settling. It was bloody cold when I got out to take some photos at the top though so not sure I'd fancy camping there at the moment smile

I wasn't aware we'd set a date for it? If it was this weekend, I didn't know about it.

Anyway, it was bloody freezing! Really, really freezing! Spent a great weekend with a huge bunch of car nutters in a field behind a pub. But their cars only had two cylinders and 29bhp each, which made for leisurely progress on the Saturday hoon hehe
