312 c.i. ? (1150 hp) Thats a lot of power from something just a little over 5 Ltrs, it doesn't say its a chevy engine either, maybe its a 312 c.i. Y block Ford V8;)

i would also be very interested in clutch and gearbox, hardly believe you can do this properly for 95 k and i do not see how it can beat a veyron, 2,5s has not been beaten by a production car to my knowledge. two wheels are not enough for this.....

IMHO the only way to get that HP and keep it driveable is to go twin turbo, then it's more a question of how far do you wan to turn up the boost.

no its possibley a twin supercharged system running belt driven turbos simular to Kyle and Dave's......

A mate of mine imports rotrex superchargers and he gets 500 hp out of hayabusa engines which are only 1340 cc.... I was looking at bolting a couple onto my 289 a couple of years back and we estimate alot of power... just like turbos but without the lag.... but loss on turbos due to HP needed to run them. you also loose HP throught the belt and if you have a large rootes blower with the wide ribbed belt it eats HP....the wide belt by the way is what you hear whining not the blowers...

1600hp nutty twin blowers as here!!!!!!!! (which is nuts)

The adds wrong... the engine isnt the important bit it, its the gearbox which there is no info about.
More power means beefier gearbox, clutch, brakes cooling, fuel system etc etc... so building the engine is probably the easiest part of the project and it sounds like this is a relativelly unproven package unless of cause its being built by Jeff.

However it has got me thinking... Im just drafting my own add as we speak "for sale Ultima GTR, 1300bhp more drivable and reliable than all other Ultima's with similar or more power, will finish building after full money received... etc etc"

In my quest to help in this exhaust problem Ive been in contact with Joe Sherman for some ideas.. Im waiting his reply but while looking at his site i noticed prices of his sb chevy engines and anyone looking at buying best have a look as a 536hp chevy is $7200 which is 4k cheaper than AS... also Joe does not guess about HP!!!!!!

he also does a 598 Big Block Chevy Race Engine: 1,025 HP, 820 ft-lb Torque
