2005 C70 Door Mirror Leak

Hi all, this may have been covered on here before, so apologies in advance if it has... I recently bought a C70 convertible for the wife and have noticed that it might have the dreaded leaking door mirror syndrome on the passenger’s side. Now, the car was bought from a main dealer so hopefully this should get rectified via the warranty. However, i know what warranties can be like so if the work is not covered is there any advice for a fix? As i understand, this is a problem that sounds almost incurable but I’m not a believer in "it can't be fixed sir"...
