Where does the "value for money" come from then? Anyway nowhere to put the shopping and putting number plates on it would be interesting!

Slight overkill if all you want to be is the fastest on a track day (a daft enough aim in itself)

To be fastest on a track day, you would have to find one that would let you on the track! Didn't EVO test one on track with silencers but it was still too loud?

I've seen that car, it's for sale near my parents house. Pics here: http://athorby.zenfolio.com/p623414032

You don't realise how large they are and it look really cool in the flesh. The canopy alone is a £20K extra as it's made by the same people who make the one for the eurofighter!! It's definitely a unique product!!

Silly money for a silly toy imo....

Just read the current thread on CS track inclusion.

As much as I love the shape, performance, noise of the thing if you can't use it on an (open) track day, then what's the point??

Does anyone remeber the original £100k tag??

CS for me thanks

To be fastest on a track day (even if they let you on) you need to be able to drive it properly. That's me out then! so I will save my money and drive something I can enjoy.

I like it. It's outrageous and so unique it's unlikely to overlap with anything else you've owned or are likely to own. The price isn't that far off what I would expect for a low volume, high end car actually. In fact what bothers me is that it won't have had the engineering investment to make it reliable; the final bit of any engineering project where you spend 90% of the time fixing the remaining 10% of the issues. This is a toy, nothing more, and while it may be fun to drive, is it fun to own? Forever fixing stuff that goes wrong gets old pretty quickly and my sense is that this could be a carbon fibre TVR. As the old head on young shoulders who sorted my specatularly unreliable camper said "if it's not fun, there's no fking point mate"
