If it helps to reduce homophobic chanting at grounds, and stops the Justin Fashanu/Graeme Le Saux like bullying at football clubs then what is wrong with an anti-homophobia campaign?

If it's wrong to shout out racist and anti catholic/protestant chants (north of the border) at football grounds then surely homophobia should be looked at similarly?

Of course players shouldnt be forced to partake but at least have the guts to say 'I just don't want to do it as it's not an issue close to heart' instead of making up such excuses as they've done here.
