How many Cerbera's are going to Chatsworth?

We went to the C.R.E.A.M meeting at Elvington in 2006 and there was 106/108 Cerbs there.

I just wondered if that figure had been bettered anywhere else and if it would be bettered at Chatsworth.

Hi Trev.

According to this thread that has been running recently....

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

.........there was around 80 last year, so still a bit short of the CREAM event attendance. May be this year might be better. Hope so.

I think we might get 70 Cerbs at Chatsworth. 40 so far indicated they are going.

I ask in the hope of receiving a truthful, experienced reply rather than publicity smile

There is no 'publicity' , certainly none with spin. The event is a gathering with events appended to the gathering. It is an amazing setting (although I am biased). It is a grat day or weekend. It isnt a wheel spinning, adrenalin rush........ but that doesnt stop it from being awesome.

Erm, imagine 500+ TVR's parked on the lawn in front of the house

The gardens are pretty spectacular too. I'd take a picnic though as the food place gets swamped.

Nothing too exciting really, Saturday has a run out - pretty boring being part of a 50+ TVR convoy, then forced to make small talk with other like minded TVR folk at a country pub with large car park, perhaps putting some faces to names for PH contributors..... usually run takes in some narrow, twisty roads through the Derbyshire countryside - just dull fields surrounded by dry stone walls, rolling hills, woods that kind National Park type of dull stuff......

Saturday also has a dyno run day at RaceProved in Sheffield - nothing much going on there, just a few industial units on a small industrial estate in Sheffield (oh, with a few TVRs, TVR specialists who are passionate about TVRs, a dyno with cheap runs on the day - but hey these are probably booked up by now so no point with that? Who wants to hear a TVR at full chat on a dyno when it's not yours - yawn).

Sunday: imagine a massive car-boot sale, except without the pikey's and the junk, where nobody is selling anything, and the cars are all TVRs - last year nearly 700 (only about 676 or something - so nothing to get excited about there, then). Cars arranged by model, sooooo boring seeing all different models of TVR all lined up next to each other..... Oh, and apparently there's some kind of stately home and gardens as a backdrop for photo's, nothing much to see there (except if you watched Brideshead Revisited - which used Chatsworth as the location).

I'd give it a miss, if I were you..... nothing to see here, these are not the TVRs that you are looking for......

Could have been, it was a brilliant day though, whether it was in 05 or 06.

Still waiting for the next one.

I think Brideshead was at Castle Howard Mike.
