Blimey, if only I won the lottery!

Space Shuttle, 103,149,635 miles, good condition, must go due to lack of space

Do you fancy the fastest toy on the planet wink

I thought the Cashley Pole story more interesting.....

Is there a hint of flange in that picture?

It would would be funny to buy one then move in next door to Clarkson and use it to outdo his Lightning.

The Clarkson /Lightning thing was just for TV and was quickly removed.

£17M for something than can be nothing more than a museum piece, not sure. Would be nice if they gave one away to Duxford IWM though.

When we scrapped Concorde, we should have saved one up.

We could have swapped a decommissioned Concorde for a decommissioned Shuttle.

Most Concorde were not scrapped and are currently on display.

Perhaps that's what we should do then!

Only one Concorde out of the entire production run has been deliberately scrspped (an ex Air France aircraft). So apart from this omne and the one that crashed, every single Concorde ever built still exists somewhere.

I have said for a long time that in return for our Concordes, the UK should be given Endeavour. Ideally taken to Whitby, but the place just isn't big enough for an appropriate museum and all the visitors.

Don't forget the Concorde on the roof at Sinsheim next to the Tu-144 (which the bds sliced the wings off for transportation). Technically not scrapped, but pretty close.

Isn't there a Concorde sitting next to the aircraft carrier in New York harbour?

After checking my own pictures ETA:

Yes there is!

So can we have Endeavour to sit on the Thames next to HMS Belfast?
