Thought you meant the movie with Del Toro and Hopkins! Saw that yesterday - a pleasant enough way to spend a Thursday afternoon but still crap!
Saw it last night. View it as a good old fashioned B movie and it is tolerable. Shame really, with the cast they had available I'm sure they could have made a much better film.Re: The TV program, was this about the guy down in Devon at Combe Martin wildlife park ? If so, we went there last year and listened to his talk about the wolves - it was fascinating.

Ust saew the wolfman on theatres. I didn't like itN definately wasn't be nicios best by any means. The acting was stale, too slow, the settings too fake.
Spoiler
However the scene in the psycho ward when they try to prove he's just a nutter and not actually werewolf was probably the best scene in the movie from what I saw--my OH and I walked out atleast 15 min to the end. I suppose we could have stayed but we were sooo bored.

They trailered The Crazies (Crazy), Kick Ass (funny), Solomon Kane (monsters) and Clash of Titans (bigger monsters) before it.
In Solomon Kane James Purefoy looks like Hugh Jackman in Van Helsing, same hat/coat style. And Pete Postlethwaite was in everything it seemed.
