Pop-up headlights and headlamp converters

Good morrow,

am currently abroad, so popping into Halfords is not an option.
I intend to drive into Europe next month, for several months, and have understood that headlamp converters are a requirement to driving on the continent.

Will these items fit also onto cars with pop-up headlights (I have a F355)?

Have you had to fit these onto your car with pop-up lamps (Diablo, MX-5 etc etc)? If so, is this a straightforward process?

I believe you can get some tape that you put on the lights. I reckon that would b better than getting new headlights.
