Can anybody help please..

My step-daughter's mobile is on a vodafone tariff and the minute she uses the phone, wherever she is in the house, it starts to interfere with the tv signal. If we are watching freeview it becomes pixelated and freezes the picture, and if we are on terrestial tv it produces distorted lines accross the sceen. My wife and I are on 3, our phones do not not cause any problems, nor do any other tariffs such as O2 or orange.

Any suggestions, is there anything I can buy that can reduce or elimate the problem, because as a teenager, she is on her mobile most of the evening which makes TV viewing a tad frustrating!

Thanks

Tony

Is it the network ?
Or the phone

Have you put her sim card in another handset

Also what sort of aerial are you using, old or digital ? Tried a booster box ?

Hi

It is not the phone, because she has recently changed her phone to an I-phone and it made no difference. We have several TVs in the house including old portables with digi-boxes and new Samsungs with built in Freeview. All of them are affected.

How do I tell what sort of aerial I have got? I am pretty sure that I have a booster box fitted.

Sounds very strange! I'm on Vodafone and have two i-phones in the house, never had any problems. I've got a tv with inbuilt freeview, a second with a freeview box and signal booster using the roof mounted ariel, and a third on sky HD. Anything on the i-phone forums ( or fora confused )?
