As some of you may be aware from a previous post I was assulted back in July/August last year. This morning I have recieved a letter from the Procurator Fiscal's Office asking me to attend for an interview tomorrow.

As I have never been throught anything like this before, is this standard procedure? It also says on thr letter that if the time is not suitable then to phone and arrange another time. To be honest, it isn't really suitable as I have an important lecture that I should really be at, at that time. Is it a case of ust put up and shut up or would they even be in the slightest bit bothered that I would like to change the time?

Thanks in advance for any help.

(don't knwo if it makes any difference but I live in Scotland)

Phone them and explain your predicament.

Not up in Scottish Law but sounds as if PF is collecting his evidence prior to arraigning the assailant?

Hi,
Thanks, phoned them and unfortunatly that was the only suitable time, so I had to stick with it, not to worry, the sooner it is over the better.
