Motivation/Inspiration

I really struggle, particularly at the moment to get ideas of what to shoot in a general sense. I know I need to try and develop a bit more general creativity (I particularly like seeing abstract shots where something interesting is made effectively from nothing), but are there any sites out there that might effectively set challenges and perhaps offer assistance for useless folk like me?!

How about searching Flickr for your town/village to see what other people have made from the local surroundings?

Thanks for the suggestions, I'd forgotten theboyfolds post from the other day actually. Love the 10/10 idea. Going to trundle to the rugby club in a bit in any case, but might need to add a bit of time to the journey

Had an idea I thought I'd share - although I'm sure people use it already - randomly picking a word from the dictionary and then using that as the topic to a photo - obviously there would be a veto option for certain words!
