What would be a good house warming present, he's one of my best pals, and one of the first to buy his own place.
So this is all new to me...

Camping bed! especially if he has got a short sofa and you are planning on staying over.

Sort of a gift to share... take that as literally as you like.

A nice glass coffee table sat on something like an F1 wheel/tyre or an engine block. Very PH!

Thanks for all the great suggestions.

As a keen collector of fine champagne i could give him a bottle but he's more of a beer drinker like myself.
Yes he has a bird, lucky for him, shes older and a looker (lucky c**t)
All the known items his folks are buying like all furniture, plates, tv etc etc

I was possibly thinking maybe brandy glasses and a decanter with it engraved but what would you have engraved on it.

smile. I was too young to drink when these were around, however I do remember them being brought to my parents house whenever there was a family do.

Unless fully furnished already Ikea vouchers got to be useful. Though may depend on how local you are to an Ikea.

How about getting a copy of his title deeds (from the Land Registry) and getting it put into a frame?
