What's wrong? Mostly Gordon Brown, Europe and the weather. We can change two of those...

One thing you don't appreciate in NZ is that you can run your own country to suit your own best interests - we can't, we have to pay a bunch of foreigners billions every year to tell us what to do.

a) The Blair/Brown fiasco as "Bush's poodle" re. Iraq.
b) The Blair/Brown/Bush fiasco of failure to supervise the banks.
c) The Blair/Brown fiasco of Islamification of Britain.

Otherwise it's all good!

You forgot:

d) the national debt
e) speed cameras
f) congestion charging
g) fuel duty
h-z) everything else

No really, when I was a teenager I thought England was the finest country in the world, and how lucky I was ot have been born in it. Now it's mostly st, dmnaged irreversibly, and that's mostly thanks to scheming 'New Labour' and all the naive idiots who keep voting for them.

It's not entirely different in the rest of the world and the UK really does have a lot more going for it than people like to think.

Funny, when I was in NZ last year I found the Kiwis to be a miserable, stroppy and impatient bunch with very few exceptions. Still, encountering my face when you're trying to go about your daily business would surely upset most!

Nothing much.
We are all just twiddling our thumbs and kicking the dirt until the election.
