So, I've opted into the Cycle to Work scheme and looking to get myself a nice hard tail. The Cube Ltd Team Pro catches my eye as having good spec and solid construction, but are there any alternatives? I'm looking to spent around £900 max, as I want to spend a little getting some bits for my old GT LTS2000 too if possible.

On One are doing complete Inbred bikes for £700-£800 but it won't be as racey as the Cube. I think they do the Scandel for £800-£900 which is racey.

Lapierre, Scott, Specialized..or maybe a Trek...
try Evans, Tredz, Chain reaction, find the bike you like, shove that in google until you find the cheapest...

The Genesis bike range is well worth a look and in particular, the bikes with the Reynolds steel frames.Should be spot on for your budget.
