Hi All,

Does anyone have any good tips on how to clean the running boards on an X5? The (presumably) aluminium has lots of small corrosion spots on it which don't seem to react to regular polishing.

Iv'e used a worn kitchen scourer with good results. Keep in the direction of the original graining and use with plenty of water.

I've heard that 'Wonder Wheels' alloy cleaner is very good!

Try Autosol. They are a nightmare to keep clean though, especially in winter with all the salt etc.

Hi,
I've just done mine with wonder wheels today & they came up a treat.
Don't know how long they'll last though.
Phil.
