Door mirror replacement X308. Is this easy to do ?

Now I have club hands and a nice big screwdriver and a hammer.
How easy is it to repalce the lens in the door mirror ?
Is is a back cover off job ?
This may sound naive but I don't want to pee around working it out and chip / wobble bits of plastic.
You will be pleased to hear I am half way there in the fact that I have bought the right replacement.
We are talking the electro chromatic here....
Just had this thing out for a Sunday blast after winter storage, I am still grinning like a demented banshee.....
