Guys, ive noticed that dealers get a bad rep on some of these forums, in many cases, rightly so id imagine.

Credit where credit due though, ive just had some dealings with a member of this forum - Partsguru, who is a parts manager at BMW HR Owen in North London. He has provided me with some amazing help in my quest to track down a decent 5 series.

I'd definitely have no qualms in recommending his dealership if his colleagues are half as competent and helpful as he is.

Big thank you.

+25 Million!! Paul is a great guy and always willing to help smile

Due to a bit of bad luck with my cars over the last month(Broken wing mirror on my 6, dead Idrive on my 5 and Stuck CD Changer on my 6!) I've been pestering Paul for help and he's always been more than happy to help me get booked in and sorted asap.

I don't think I've seen the parts departments of any dealer being deprecated on here. Sales & service departments lots of times, but never parts departments.

I too had good dealings with Paul, he arranged a service for my e39 at a reasonable price helping to maintain the FDSH.

Thanks for the praise guys!!! thumbup

It was a pleasure helping out when I could.

It doesn't look like this post has attracted as much traffic as the history check thread!!!!

Nice to see some praise and credit where it's due.

Not all dealers are a nightmare and most if not all (in the cases where I've worked over the years) have been held together by the man behind the counter (or phone) in Parts!
