Hi everyone - hope you're all well :-)

My Cerbera came to me with 18" spiders on it and very pretty looking but very thin tires on them.

Now obviously the factory manual states the pressure for the standard wheels, however I want to make sure they are right for the bigger wheels so would anyone know what they should be for the following tire/wheel configuration?

Fronts: FALKEN FK452 225 / 35 ZR 18 87Y
Rears: FALKEN FK452 255 / 35 ZR 18 94Y

Many thanks!

Alex

(P.S. My better half hates the car as you can feel every bump!!!)

There are a few threads on this, but I ran 24 all round , eventually, on mine. Did have 28 but it tramlined and the concensus was that was too high. Was much better on 24, though when I changed them there was marking on the inner sidewall suggesting this was too low for the tyre according to the tyre fitter. So it's a prference thing. I think you will get a few answers, but 24 was the best on mine. 18" spiders with isometric Goodyear F1s.

Thanks - really helpful!

According to the Which? tyre guide the ZR and Y ratings means the tires can run up to 186mph - blimey, need to find some empty track somewhere to try that out (and some decent catches to hold the bonnet down!)

As mentioned, 24psi all round is the generally accepted tyre pressure for 18"s.

I was under the impression the generally accepted road pressures were 22 front and 24 rear. That's what I run with Goodyear F1's and am happy with the handling.
On track I generally increase by 2 or 3 all round (from cold).

Does anyone increase pressure for long distance driving?
