Hey u Guys;D
I`ve just bought me a tvr taimar LHD 3.0 essex v6 motor!!!

I`am relative new to the TVR world of pleasure laugh

But now I have had the car for some weeks, but i`ve realised really quick that the tuning parts and rims and general part supply..can be bit of a handful to get a hold of...

So I was hoping for some help from more experienced help from the members here!

I`m sure u all saw the tvr 5000m project car in EVO for a while back, I`ve just heard it from a mate on a party, But could u help me out finding out wich Rims this car had??
Lovely black 18inch rimsbiggrinbiggrin

Yeah..so Thanks if u could dig up some information for me , i have major budget for this car, so i will restore it to perfect shape!!!

I would suggest you do the following:
1.) Contact the specialists; Arian Venn, Steve Reid and John Reid as well as Steve Heath and others, will all be able to help you.
2.) Be more specific in your request for information e.g.suspension, brakes, wheels, engine...
3.) Do a little bit of homework before you ask others to do it for you. Start with http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&a... and narrow the search. Next, contact the moderators of this forum and ask them when the once wonderful search function of this site will return to its former glory. Subsequently, you can start to wear it out.

Your referring to Peter Wheelers racer?

Picture from EVO:

I believe this car has black Compomotive MO wheels. I have no idea what mods were made to this car though and suspect it wouldn't be running stock hubs / offsets.

I think most of the body is M, but heavily modified to fit a modern chassis.

Roy,
Longer and wider than an M. I understand there are new moulds for the body, bonnet and doors that will allow the "new" bodywork to be reproduced. Not GRP either!!

The door handles, rear lights, side markers and bonnet badge are M-Series.

The chassis and running gear are Tuscan Challenge, the bodyshell was made from moulds taken from a 3000M and then widened and lengthened to fit.

Engine is a Ford 5 litre lump.

So, just the indicators are off the M series. Unless they're replicas too!

Ah, the font speaks! I sit corrected, Colin, although I believe it got a bit bigger than 5 litres.

Space Composites have recently modified and re-manufactured an historic TVR 5000M body shell. The vehicle now benefits from a pre-impregnated, oven cured, woven shell with Kevlar and Aluminium honeycomb side impact structures. The entire shell weighs 32kgs and significantly enhances the cars power to weight ratio and safety. The car is to be raced in the Heritage GT championship around the UK in 2009.
