If anyone knows a reliable and honest heating engineer in the south Essex/Kent area who is prepared to take on a job, actually turn up and communicate, please can they let me know?

Good question!

Currently my tally is:

Bloke 1: Never replied to e-mails
Bloke 2: Said he'd come round but hasn't yet - after three weeks
Bloke 3: Came to see the job and was going to ring with a quote but hasn't - after two weeks
Bloke 4: Due to visit on Tuesday...

I know. I am seriously annoyed. One guy said he'd do it, didn't turn up and then claimed for weeks to be sourcing parts before disappearing off the face of the earth and the next one said he'd do it, sent a quote and then failed to turn up, citing 'family problems'.

If they can't take the fking job, I wish they'd just say in the first place.
