Just like to say a big thanks to the guys who helped me out today at the Hole of Horcum carpark following a very scary momet for me when I thought my boxster engine had blown up! Discovered it was the hydraulic line from the steering too close to the exhaust manifolds hence igniting leaking hydraulic fluid.
Didn't get your names but you'll know who you are so Big Thanks for your time and help (and one tie clip).
Thanks, Pete

Thanks for the advice - might have to heed what you say about the fire extinguisher and tie wraps! Mind you all sorted now, got the latest version of the hydraulic pipe fitted now which runs nowhere near the exhaust manifold (phew!).
