I have all but completed an extension on the back of my house and have been getting differing opinions on the earthing of radiators.
The extension has a new consumer unit tailed off the original one, the new unit has 2 RCD circuits and all works fine.
Currently I have no earthing cables attached to the rads( Although there are ones attached to everything that connects to the water supply and combi boiler), but in order to get it all signed off with a Part P will this need to be done.

Also (Following the above), any qualified Sparkys in Stoke on Trent want to quote me for taking a look and if happy then signing it off for me?

Shouldn't need any.

Under 17th regs the only bonding normally required is the MEB to the service incomers, normally water and gas.

Tell them Matt Binns sent you.

Assuming your gas and water is correctly bonded I don't think you will need suplimentary bonding to the rads.

Thanks Peeps.
That has saved me pulling the skirting boards off to thread them around at least (Plastering is already done).

If I get stuck with my tripple two way dimmer switches I'll be back. I think I'm going to have to dig a deeper trench down the wall to put all the bl00dy wires in.
