Rented a house in the past and was a bit of a nightmare, landlord broke various laws and council placed an order etc.

The said individual is on facebook - I'm not on the friends list (obviously) but her hundred or so friends are public to view hehe

If I were to send each and everyone of them a email warning about her and stating ONLY facts (kept stuff in writing so no issues over if true or not), would that be ok? assuming workmates & family & neighbours will be on there...

Don't do it - you could get yourself banned from facebook, and possibly a visit from the BiB for harassment.

Seems a bit immature.
- Said individual still owes me money almost a year after end of tenance
- failed to comply with numerous laws, when asked to do so refused.
- left me without any heating or hot water for almost a month
- entered the property repeatedly without notice or permission
- guilty of (failed) attempts of extortion
- numerous other unethical issues

Could just as easily take advantage of any one of the 'friends'.

Note: Will be be going to smaLL claims court in a few months and this would be done afterwards.

OMG, can you imagine!

Suicide would then be your only next option.

But surely if facts then not an issue, what could the bib do?

forgot to add the said individual already traied that one- went to bib & tried to claim my contacting my email & text regarding outstanding repairs was 'harrasment', was not taken seriously...

Sounds like scum. Take her to a small claims court, get a result (assuming she pays out). Then forget all about her, not worth the hassle imho.

Will win (included failure to protect deposit) She'll pay as owns an asset ie the house

The mature thing is to go to a small claims court and try to be compensated through that.

Her potentially taking advantage of one of her 'friends' is a) Not your problem and b) only really a little justification to yourself for doing the Facebook thing isn't it?

Leave it. Settling issues in court is for a grown-up. Settling issues on Facebook is for kids.

Take this advice.

Move on.

Seen this dozens of times. Ends in tears. Always.

If an unkown sent me an email slagging one of mates off i'd punch them on the snout!!!

Her friends have no loyalty to you and you risk it turning totally against you..!

Trying to put any wedge between her and her mates purely for revenge is a bit weird if you ask me……!!

Amir I had the same problem but with a tenant not a landlord, owed me money etc, I resisted the urge to write to their bosses and fb their friends and I'm glad I did because the look on their faces when they lost ib small claims and now have ccj's was all worth it. And now they'll remember laughing in my face and refusing to pay the rent everytime they try and get a loan. Only it probably won't be funny anymore!

If she owes you enough money to be bothered about small claims court.

Otherwise put it down to experience and move on.
