That ad reads a bit scammy to me.

"Here are some facts I read on the 95 Ferrari 456 GT:..."

If you were the owner, why would you post this?

Plus there are the screen grabs of alleged adverts for 456s as a way of demonstrating the market value.

Plus the person has no feedback.

Almost worth setting them up, then buying the car cheaply hehe

Have to wonder when or if 456's will harden in value, for such a great looking and driving car, its almost sad that people dont seem to want them

Beautiful colour and those 360 wheels suit it too.

same car sold on german ebay 27 January 2010 for > £40k

Is this just to generate ebay traffic?

Same car also owned by one Mr Nicholas Cage - but it was green at that point

When I first heard that one twenty years ago it was a Porsche

But I think a DJ did something similar as a stunt in 2005

It was that bloke off Fifth Gear who presented with Tom Ford - Tim Shaw

He was heard viciously flirting with Jodie Marsh on his radio show and his Mrs took offence. She therefore E-Bay'd his Lotus Esprit with no reserve and sold it that afternoon biggrin

In respect of the 456. It's a 456 with no reserve on e-bay, the price will rocket near the end of the auction so....?

I seem to remember that, as a sequel to that, he asked listeners on his show to donote parts to build a replacement car.
He then miraculously appeared with a free M3 BMW.
Publicity stunt, or what?

No, not a publicity stunt. The guy was/is a cock. He was saying how he'd leave his wife and kids for her and so his wife had enough. She put it on ebay for 50p as long as they could pick it up by lunchtime. It sold and I think she filed for divorce. He's a total bell end and probably one of the contributing factors to fifth gear's demise.

ouch

and that was for this same car, which "sold" for £45k.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

"i will reimburse shipping cost."

Scam written all over it
