this old Doohan one was probably one of the best selling replicas over the years

Dark Blue and white of the Saltire. Perfectly simple.


Clark's helmet was such a good pure design that "Super-Swede" Ronnie Peterson copied the design and changed the colours for the Swedish flag colours. He even kept the peak.

Agostini had a good design
a mate had an Arai version a good few years ago, wasn't very common at all

I seem to recall Tom Pryce used five vertical stripes to help his father identify him during kart races. Nice, simple design.

I always thought that was a copy of/tribute to another Japanese rider killed in WSB a few years ago, Nagai
Always stuck in my mind with this awful picture


edit: btw, just looking up the guy's name, found out that Norick Abe was killed in 07 - missed that at the time, very sad loss
