Having a dig around my cupboards & came across an old (mid to late 80's) Spear & Jackson board game named Car Capers. Sort of jigsaw style board with dice for 2 - 6 players. 12 cars are featured as the game content: Morgan plus 8 / Chevrolet Corvette / Porsche 928S / Renault GTA V6 Turbo / Ferrari GTO / De Tomaso Pantera GT5-S / Jaguar XJ-SC V12 / Mercedes Benz 300CE / Lotus Esprit Turbo HC / Ford RS-200 / Lamborghini Countach S and a TVR 420 SEAC. Has anybody else came across this board game?

I still have my copy of this game somewhere! - as I remember it was a mid-late 70's version with associated sports car exotica...

ahh.. the memories, can't see my kid being entertained for hours on end throwing a dice and matching up pieces of a car picture though.....

There's one on eBay at the moment, but I think you'll find that Spears were the people who made it; Spear & Jackson make gardening implements
