I was getting into my car (E class) at some shops earlier today when a guy rushed across the road and asked "Allwight mate, dwanna buy some genuine Merc bonnet emblems"
He then showed me, from under his coat, two badges in Merc boxes and said he had ten more for £20 the lot!
He was well shifty and kept looking around like a nervous dog!
I declined and quickly left.
I'm not into stolen property and I thought why would I need one?
Two hours later washing the car and I knocked the front badge and it went "ping" and fell off!
