Mirror back removal

Hi Guys, have misplaced my workshop CD, anyone know the method for taking the back section off an XK/XJ door mirror, ie the decorative piece? Many thanks in advance.

It is held on by I think four metal clips that push onto plastic lugs on the mirror back. Removed mine gently using a screw driver around the gap to push the backing off so I could get it off without damage. Official method may recomend removal of the mirror glass but I did not try that.
