Don't watch John Mann MP on Sky News then, I've just been screaming at my TV!

ETA no wonder we're screwed if he's on the Treasury Select committee, rabid foaming commie that he is.

When has the BBC not followed the party line?

Barclays have actually brought down the percentage of revenues in investment banking allocated to remuneration in any case, partly for political reasons, partly due to more onerous capital requirements. But I doubt the BBC will report that.

Which economists are they? It seems to me the BBC has more economists than most of the banks they have opinions on.

Do what I do and don't have a television.

No big brother, no celebrity jungle on ice, or pop factor. Ahhhhh.

Reading, talking, playing the piano, doing something in the shed.

Ditch the rotbox and it's administered goodthink.

Most of the profits came from an asset sale anyway.

I simply don't watch the BBC news (or many of it's programmes) anymore. I cannot stand the leftie leanings (and/or AGW lies throughout).

which one? I thought their biggest asset sale was a bit of a ruse, where they effectively sold the most dire stuff on their books to a shadowy off shore entity that may well have been themselves?

Nope, that was Protium Finance .. which is essentially spinning off some of the riskier balance sheet items into a loan.

Back on topic, Vince Cable has been unusually quiet .. maybe he has a bad cough or is on holiday (from bonus bashing)?

yes It is utterly, utterly, completely unwatchable.

Not only is the journalism poor but the obvious, continual bias whilst pretending to impartiality just makes me want to go "postal" with a fully automatic weapon.

Thankfully I can read news on the interest from better sources without risking immediate arrest.

It is incredibly irritating, but it's an aesthetically pleasing website .. and i like to know what 'common man' is feeding his brain with.

That and the discussion about how oil prices were a major contributor to the new inflation figures. This was all due to crude prices apparently, no mention of Gordons new petrol tax...

i'm sure its nothing to do with the weaker pound making imports more expensive, its almost like they package the story in such a way so that it doesnt conflict with government policy lol....
