Slightly off par with the usual questions... I have 3 personal registrations which I am now looking to sell to help fund a few things for the Z4 and I would appreciate your opinions.

I have tried the normal mainstream sell you reg number site and they get lost amongst the thousands available and ebay.

The reg. no.s are:

AD07 CAR (A 007 CAR) the A007 CAR went for several hundred thousands
AD07 BAD (A 007 BAD)
PA53 CAR (PACE CAR)

I would appreciate your thoughts advice as to the best place to advertise/sell the plates?

BTW I am open to offers :-)

Cheers B

Any numbers where you have to explain in brackets what they mean aren't worth very much! wink

Is this the advertising page?

I have an old pair of socks (SOCKS) for sale. I have seen socks go for thousands, if not millions.

PS - I am open to offers!!!!

No it didnt, as A007 CAR isn't a valid numberplate - you cant have 007, it would be A7.

Not very liquid plates like that. Kind of item you could have for years. You may get a good return but dont think they are the kind of plates you could sell by the end of the month without taking a hit on them.
I personally think you are covering the bases with your adverts

I've always tried to snap up a couple of personal reg plates here and there as an investment of such (seen as the banks seem to be leaking money)and have recently sold a couple of them for profit via a comparison website I found whilst tediously searching through Google for advice.....I now realise my mistake was I shoudl have come to you guys for suggestion first (ultimately though you may have just said "don't buy a personal plate in the first place" wink ) Anyway, they were really helpful in helping me get the best deal so check them out http://www.comparenumberplates.co.uk
