Elise S2 Engine problem (power leak)

1) i have an elise s2, 4000Km, Race Exaust, Carbon Box.
2) after the mechanic has fitted the carbon box, the yellow light
(catalizer) has started to blink,
3) then cat was removed
4) yellow light still blink.
4) between 2000 and 3000 rpm, the engine loose power and the car stops.
5)after 5 minutes the car start to work without problem.
what do you think?

Sounds like your mechanic has accidentally damaged or loosened something while fitting the carbon [air?] box. Have a good look round the engine bay and check all the wires and pipes are tight.

Loss of power is probably a misfire so start with ignition wires and leads. Good luck!
