Me and a mate are getting pretty bored of the games we have and are on the look out for something new we can play through together.

Ideally want something thats been out for abit so is cheap.

Games already played include:

Gears of war 1 + 2
MW2 Spec Ops
Res Evil 5
Borderlands
Left 4 dead
Halo 3
Cod 5

Any ideas. Ideally it would be something we can play through with a bit of a story to it.

Cousin just completed the second Army of Two and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Too Human is quite good in Co-Op mode but unfortunately the matchmaking and trade parts of the game let it down massively... but if you're talking over a headset and are fairly efficient in nature then it's not that big an obstacle...

... and something a little different, It's not exactly "Co-Op" but if you're in an Xbox party and chatting it's great fun... completing the time trial mode on Mirrors Edge and racing against your friends "Ghost" is both a great laugh and highly frustrating... as soon as one of you beats the other you drop back and race against their new Ghost... this game will be in a bargain bucket somewhere now as it got absolutely slated.

Crackdown was hugely more fun that I thought it would ever be.

red alert 3 is only £3.95 on shopto.net so could be a winner.

Fable is a sort of RPG-Lite with lots of hack and slash style gameplay, getting married (to multiple wives/husbands/gay lovers all at once if you like) property ownership and the choice to play good or evil.

You basically have a solo game and then invite your friend to play, who then takes a cut of all the loot to use in their own game and can generally run amock in 'your' world.

Story is pretty good and I've had good fun playing it in co-op.

Perfect Dark Zero will be very cheap and has some great co-op. Mate and I played tons of that co-op.
Levels with you fighting together, then other levels where you split apart (one sniping to support the other on the ground). Vehicle combat etc.. Worth checking out.

Anyone played saints row 2?

Looks like you can play through the entire single player campaign as co-op.

Fable is one of those rare games i thought i hate... had my arm twisted into buying and then loved... played through it all and thought really good.

Ditto - the same for Army of Two - it's Pap except for in Co-op where it's actually a lot of fun.

And of course, Left4Dead2 as well

L4D2 is good... but for some reason the price is staying high on it. i expected it to plummet. I liked that game but found it has a short life span! only so many times frying panning a zombie is fun!

+1

Played co-op at my brother's and it was fun. Wanted to get my own copy but like you said the price is still high.

I think the price is staying high because its one of those games you keep hold of so rarely see them second hand.

Ive got left 4 dead but me and my mate got bored after a few play throughs. I think you really need 4 or at least 3 of you playing it as the computer controlled guys are just annoying.
