E46 3-Series Hi-Fi upgrade - OEM options?

I've the standard Business unit in my 2004 3-series coupe but am interested to know if anyone has, or if it is possible for the unit/speakers to be upgraded. What I'd really like is HK but I am sure the retro-fitting of this would be expensive.

Any one any experience?

I have the HK in my e46 coupe, while it does a job its still pretty gash.

BSW do a decent plug and play set, but it's not cheap $600 before postage and packing.

On a side not I have a horrible rattling coming from my rear speakers (the enclosed 6x9's) it doesnt sound too much like one has blown though, its only discernable at high bass levels. Could it be the actual enclosure shaking?

Common problem - it is the HK sub rattling.
Google will probably find you someone who's solved it.
