Post Office Scrote Nicked My Passport
Discussion
Got home last night and my passort renewel has been sent back to me minus my passort
Looks like some light fingered bstid at the post office has opened it and nicked my passport.
Phoned the helpline and got some knob , no use at all , and telling me to fill out a form.
Just glad im not going away till later in the year , but angry and upset.
Who the hell are they employing these days

I wouldn't just report it to the Post Office, I'd report it to the police.
It's not like they've just stolen a postcard.

Nigerians. They also like mobile phones as there's a thriving black market for them in Nigeria. Timmy35 said:

A passport is worth a LOT of money.
I've prosecuted a few.

I'm guessing you might not be welcome in Dubai for a while.

apparantly the post office take theft of mail very seriously. I'd be inclinded to believe them if I was getting all of my post.
Did a test at a house I was renting a room in a while back.Sent out several bits of post, three of which were "birthday cards" fakes hinting at money inside, one was a boring bank letter lookalike, and the other was a standard letter.
They were sent from all areas of the UK.
Predictably, only 1 of the 3 birthday card fakes came in.
Complained to the post office, was told that there was nothing they could do. Local postie was replaced the next week.
Would have been nice if they could have at least followed it up telling me that they found the culprit, and everything else. Well they probably did, but the letter got "lost" in the post
