What do I win?
£2k for 0-60 in 4.x seconds.
Although prices do seem to be on the rise for them again..thankfully, you will be able to pick up a snotter R for less than 2k.What do I win?

£2k for 0-60 in 4.x seconds.

But yes, I agree with this.
I think you've got to strike a balance between cheapest and fastest in your question. One car may be a bit cheaper than another, but slower too. Had you set a limit for either factor then it would be a lot easier to come up with an answer as you'll get a lot more for £3k than you would for £300, and a lot more still if you up the budget to £10k.

Mr2 turbo. £3k will get you under 5 sec to 60.
You could probably get that for around 2k at the moment. Mine cost under 4k, and just chucking away all the heavy bits it's close to a 4s 0-60. There's plenty of jap turbo nutter cars, none have the traction off the line like the MR2 thanks to the mid engined layout.
