Removing 500 Spot Lamps

I am thinking about removing the front spot lamps on my Griff 500 as a whim style appearance thing whilst keeping the other standard headlight arrangement (i.e not adding addition light clusters), can any body advise if there are any legal problems in doing so.

If you just remove the driving lights without changing the headlamp set-up you won't have a main beam.

You can upgrade the lights in the pods to H4 like the SE's and the Chimaera, which will give you dipped and main . . . otherwise as highlighted, you'll have no main beam.

Or.. you can upgrade to SE lights (dip and main in the pod's)... and make something else for the lower holes.... lights... induction cones etc etc.... this is one I made earlier...

Yep it's California Sage Green Interior is all black.

Very nice. If I ever get around to treating mine to a full respray it'll be in that colour with a chocolate brown interior

The Swanny Griff look is what I had in mind, I mistakenly thought the existing side lights & head light was all that was needed plus incorrectly assuming that the lower spot lights were surplus items.

Taking your steer I will now be looking into the combined pod arrangement, I seem to remember somebody on PH making & selling the pods for a DIY fit ? - Thanks

Do you have a Cerbera Speedo and Rev Counter fitted?

Think the later Griff's (mines an X-reg) had a different speedo & rev counter
