What in this country has gone too far and cannot be repaired?

What cannot be turned around, no matter which government comes into power?

What have PHers resigned themselves to?

....and I'm not talking weather here!

Enjoy!

Welsh Assembly Government (and all Govt and bureacracy). I'm currently reviewing an absurd green paper for creating additional tax raising powers which will require hugely costly means of collection.

It's depressing frown

Yes, this again - if you don't like it - why post?

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not looking for moans and groans - I'm interested in serious thoughts of what people consider has been allowed to slip....I didn't mean taxes and the like...more like the 'compensation culture' and 'my kids - not my problem'...

I think it can be repaired but a major recall is required, specifically for all models produced from 1997 onwards.

Good point - surely higher taxes on imported products which are available from the UK would help?

Good point, I suppose.

You do realise you're just going to get yet another PH "weren't like this when I were a lad" thread though, right?

I'm afraid most of those ones subject to your recall will have to be scrapped due to a fatal design flaw - that's the one that makes them absorb vast quantities of energy extracted from an unsustainable and rapidly depeleting outside source whilst emitting nothing but heated air and ruining the country in the process.

Well it wasn't, when I were a lad we couldn't afford mobile phones we had to use two tin cans and a piece of string.
