  • Mods please feel free to move this, however I was hoping to get a few more answers in the lounge *
Hi,

I have been with Tiscali for many years, Ist on Dial up and then broadband and recently they were brought by talk talk.
I only have a basic broadband package which is pretty slow however i don't download music and it serves its purpose.
Today I receive my bill and they have put it up by 28%!!!
I phoned them and they say this is their new package and basically customer loyalty means nothing.
I have therefore asked for a MAC and am now looking for a new supplier.
Does anyone know any decent suppliers that I can move to.
I would consider packages as I have a phoneline and sky plus.
Hope someone can help

Thank you

Andy

How about Sky Broadband? The basic package is free if you've got TV with them, I'm on the middle option of 8Meg broadband and I think 10GB/month for £5.

+ 1 for sky. Move the phone line to sky at the same time and you should get a fiver discount per month on the broadband

Sky have been great for me so far. We're on the top package as I work a bit from home and quite often have large files & backups transferring between the two. Also the Mrs likes watching stuff on iplayer through the TV which hammers your bandwidth.

Have a peek here http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ as they have comparisons of all the packages from most of the suppliers and more importantly they're rated by the users, then nip onto the forums which are split by ISP and see who gets the complaints.

Do this. They offer 8Mb everywhere and if you are lucky enough to be in their unbundled area you get 24Mb (and it flies!)

Uncapped, none of this 'fair usage' crap. It suppose to be contended but I get the same speed 24x7.

Sky have been great for us. Good deal with the Sky TV package too.
