put a recent post on here about tyres, ive the original 16" alloys and need new rear tyres as ive only 3ish mm left, fancy a set of 17"s or even 18"s is there any problems with putting these on and what size tyre do you need (tyre height that is!) want to to be practical not just to improve cosmetics. also where can i get them from? what value would mine have.

I run the following tyres on my 18" spiders:
front - 225/35-ZR18
rear - 245/40-ZR18

Lots of people run 35mm profile on the rear too, and quite often 255mm width. I like mine the way it is, though, and ordered them from www.4newtyres.co.uk. It's not really being "practical", though... the tyres will cost more, the ride will be firmer, etc.

I run 265 x40 x17 toyo's rear.
235 x40 x17 so2,s front
will be putting toyo's on front when needed.
