Mozilla Firefox/Firebird Problem.

I've been trying out Mozilla Firefox, the new version of Firebird and have seen a couple of problems.

Firstly the last login line is now hidden behind the floating drop down menu options.

No scrolling news line on the main gassing page, but that might be blocked on the inbuilt popup blocker.

And on the posting window I get a very small window to type in, also the New Topic title can only be as long as theis topic's title. It doesn't allow any more.

Mine has the same size, Darren. No problem for me, but the length-of-the-topic-title-issue is annoying

Ted, any chance of retesting the message input box size with later versions of the Netscape successor?

No more need to do so; I did some research by setting my user-agent to MS IE on W2k:



The news-ticker still piles up in the top left corner, but the position of the magic menu is better.




Topic title and input field do not seem to mess up any more.

I've tested this with Firebird 0.61+, but there is even a later version renamed to Firefox 0.8, like FWD uses

Don't know what's happened but I've just tried Firefox again and it can't connect/find Pistonheads.com links there, even typing it in doesn't work.

Explorer no problem though.
