Just in the process of applying for a job but its based in America, other than changing my telephone number to include the international dialing code are there any other changes I should make?

Do a spellcheck with an American dictionary rather than English. Make sure any dates are unambiguous - DD/MM/YYYY can be interpreted as MM/DD/YYYY.

so should I change my date of birth to their format? Or write the month just to avoid confusion altogether?

I prefer the 17-Feb-2010 format myself to avoid any confusion.

K87 - I wouldn't put my birth date on there whether its an international or a UK company. Have they asked for it on an application form are is it on your CV. You don't want them to discriminate against you because of your age.

I've thought about that, but its a straight from university position so to be honest I would rather people knew I was young.

Works both ways mate...they may think you need work/life experience.
