iPhone crashed - how to force a re-start???
Discussion
My son is out of the country on a school ski trip - and I've just heard that his iPhone 3GS "crashed" and won't respond to any buttons.
I told him (via text to a friend) to hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple comes onto the screen for a re-boot - but seems this hasn't worked.
Any other tips to get it to work? (we have never had a single issue with the 2G unit or the previous 3g unit - this 3GS is only a week old - it was a re-furb from O2 to extend the contract) - he's pretty responsible - he said it was working one minute when he was playing a game/app - he put it in his pocket and when he got it out it had crashed/was unresponsive.
Clearly he cant plug it in to iTunes - no PC's there - but it would be great if we could get it working for him (not least so he could talk to his mother who is worrying like mad).
Any tips appreciated!
