Whilst clearing my room out 2nite i came across an old Pod programme from the 1993 World Finals. Whilst flicking through it a few names stood out who i have no idea who they are. Rolf Iversen in top fuel from Denmark, Juha Leppanen and Rolf Vogel both Top Alcohol.Anybody know whether these guys are involved in the great sport still now or what happened to them?. Whilst only 7 at the time i vaguely remember such greats as Alan Packman and Dave Mingay in Pro Mod awesome machines! Anybody else got any old programmes or souvenirs from the early 1990's?

Rolf Vogel teamed up with a certain Mr. Erbacher for some years,
Rolf running "Pro Comp" Dragster and Urs "Pro Comp" Funny Car,
was in Euroserie before the FIA era.
Both cars were painted by "CalDesign" in switzerland,
basic black with neon yellow and neon pink VERY graphic flame job.
Leppänen Bros. were also fast & successful in euroserie with a blown Alcohol Dragster,
I always liked their(?) slogan "Drag Racing is the modern form of a duel".

The Leppänen Bros old up in the winter of 1997. My Dad and Barry Redstone bought their complete opperation and ran it as the Redstone & Gleadow TAD with Fay Fischer driving and sponsored by Lucas. This became the Nemesis car from 1999 on with Dave Wilson driving.

I've got a box full of programs from about 1991 through 1998/1999 stashed somewhere at my mum's, one day I'll sort through them all
