Best N64 games to own?

I had a bout of nostalgia for my old N64 and have gone and purchased another

Comes with:
Perfect Dark
Goldeneye
Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I have hit Ebay and found most of the old titles I can remember:

Lylat Wars
1080 Snowboarding
The world is not enough
Worms Armageddon
Rayman 2
Super Mario 64
Banjo-Kazooie

Question is, what were your favourites and have I missed anything obvious out?

You've got the big ones covered - Goldeneye, Zelda and Mario 64.

Mario Kart, and/or Diddy Kong Racing are worth checking out too. Snowboard Kids is a lot of fun as well. Struggling to think of any other "must haves" for the N64...

As mentioned, tbh, Goldeneye + Mario Kart that _is_ all! I think I've kept MK + Lylat Wars (with the rumble pak) with my original console.

+ 4 controllers of course!

IMO a much better game!
The multiplayer was incredible in comparison to Goldeneye...

i normally totally disagree with you... but on this occasion i must agree. What is the game i still play after all these years? yes.. goldeneye and MK. Pilot wings is good fun.

limited edition console came with gold controller... mine was Ltd. my controllers are:

Gold/Black/Yellow/Green

In my infinite teenage wisdom i also thought it was a right laugh and looked cool to unscrew the contoller halves and swap them so i had a black/gold and a gold/black controller!

Me & my mate dug out his N64 a few years ago, although Goldeneye was legendary i still think Mario Kart 64 is the ultimate!

That was awesome. But as said before Goldeneye and Diddy Kong Racing were the best IMO.

As for controllers only ever seen blue, red, green and black. However someone back in the day got the golden stuff for free, only because he won the championship though.

So so many good memories from my N64. My personal favourites were as follows...

Goldeneye..... taking multiplayer to the next level and forever replicated.Pure heaven in a cartridge.
Mario 64...... Mario in 3D is epic and never lost that Mario feel from the 2D games.
Turok 2....... all I need to say i Cerebral Bore, best gun on the N64
Zelda Ocarina of Time........one of top three games I have ever played. Simply amazing.
Mario Cart 64.........Never has nailing your pals with a lightning bolt ,then running them over been so much fun.


so many more like ISS 64, 1080 snowboarding, Lylatt Wars, Super Smash Bros,Fighters Destiny to name but a few.

Oh, and Perfect Dark........meh. Big let down for me.Rare could have done so much better with that game. Banjo kazooie as well kicked ass!!

Goldeneye is all you will need.

Super Smash Bros. is a must however if you plan on having the odd multiplayer sesh.

F-Zero X is also worth a shout as well.
