Standard Honda S500s sound pretty much like that racing one, albeit a bit quieter... lovely sounding cars.

MK2 Golf Gti's always sounded quite throaty as standard. The 8v did anyway.

Not overflowing with character but not bad for a 4 cylinder.

The K-Series in my Elise sounds pretty damn good. My old Clio 172 Cup didn't sound bad either with a not too rude-boy exhaust on it.
