No. Copying an existing series / taking racers away from other series sums up all that is wrong with the volume of motorsport in the UK.

Happy with CSCC Tin Tops which is cheaper and I don't need to stick the car on a rolling road in advance of the season.

Agree with MMC Andy. On the Trackday Trophy site, the recommended way of racing in the series is to buy a second hand car from another championship, so reducing the grid numbers in already established series'. Any car that is eligible for this Trackday trophy would be eligible for several series that already exist.

Another way of looking at it is that it provides competitors the opportunity to race their existing car in another series. I know some guys in the MR2 Championship have been looking at it purely for extra track time and the opportunity to run longer races / two drivers.

Can do that in CSCC series and take part in the Saloon Vs Sportscar challenge (sprint race) for approx £90 at most CSCC meetings as well.
